How do hyaluronic acid-based fillers differ from the better-known wrinkle-smoothing with botox? Especially by not getting any other substances into your organism than those already found in it. Hyaluronic acid has been part of our skin since birth, but with increasing age, its volume is decreasing, which is one of the reasons why the skin gradually grows weaker. Botulinum toxin is a bacterial product whose effect is based on limiting the movement of the muscles, thus wrinkling.
